CCM Vector 05 Ice Hockey Skates |
The CCM Vector 05 is the top skate in CCM's Vector Line. They use a Vectorwear II outer material that is abrasion resistant which will allow for enhanced durability. The material has a nylon feel to it. The Vector line features a medium heel pocket which is a tight fitting heel pocket that prevents your heel from slipping allowing all of your energy to be transferred into each stride. The Vector 05 is an excellent choice to get you flying around the ice.

Comments about CCM Vector 05 Ice Hockey Skates 2010:
We bought these skates for my son who is in his second year of hockey. He absolutely loves them! I was very impressed at how light these skates are, yet; how durable they are at the same time. They are a great choice for a mid-range skate.
Service and delivery comments:
The delivery was prompt and even arrived 1-day ahead of schedule which was perfect as they were given to my son as a Christmas gift and we wanted to make sure we received them in time.

Comments about CCM Vector 05 Ice Hockey Skates 2010:
I'm a raw beginner on the ice, taking lessons, started with rink's rental skates. Then a couple of helpful rec skaters told me they learned in hockey skates and glad they did. So I bought these CCM Vector 05's from Summit after I got rid of the foot fungus from the rentals (just kiddin'!). As a total beginner I didn't know that hockey skates simply are not designed to give that tight secure ankle support feeling that general purpose rentals give. Not CCM's fault. But after a month I'm still having trouble with the stiffness of the lacing area on the skates (the fit to the foot is fine) which keeps this beginner from getting the skate tight enought near the ankle to get that responsiveness I enjoy on the slopes with a quality pair of ski boots. Maybe skates just aren't meant to provide that same one-with-the-skate/ski feel.
