Not long ago, I was looking for beginner skates with leather out sole and this product was recommended to me. I did some research on line and decided to purchase this product from the Hockey.US web site for the price,[...]As far as the product, I am still trying to get the skates fitted right now. It took a little bit longer time than I thought to get the skates because I had to return the first pair I received due to a missing skate lace and a rusting blade. The second pair I received has both laces and no rusting blade. However, once I got the skates fitted and took them on ice, I noticed that my left foot was tilting outward slightly. And when I tried to use the left outside edge, it was not smooth. The person who fitted my skates said that it is due to the imperfection of the manufacturing and that does happen. So, the worst case will be the blade has to be repositioned. The fact that the skates have leather out sole makes the repositioning possible. However, it will take some effort because the blade that came with the skate does not have adjustable holes to screw in. Too bad I still need to wait to get the blade adjusted before I can skate comfortably in them. But, hopefully, it will get taken care of.

I want to say that the customer service was excellent at this web site.The representative I talked to was very nice and prompt. Soon after I placed the order on line, the first shipment was sent out on the same day. I also received an email noice with a UPS tracking number for tracking the delivery. The shipment arrived on time. When I discovered that the skates had missing laces and rusting blades, I called the customer service and right away they sent me a return slip via email. The representative told me they would sent the replacement out as soon as the return is in transit. And they did! I received the replacement the day after the return was delivered back to the company. What a happy and no hassle shopping experience. I recommend this website to everyone.
